At Klasik Construction, we’re known as the  "concierge in Carhartt," and we are looking for a Site Superintendent who shares our passion for craftsmanship and meticulous execution. You'll be the face of Klasik on-site, a hands-on problem-solver who ensures every project runs like a lean, mean, Klasik machine. You're the conductor on the ground, making sure our vision of "beautifully built architecture" is a reality.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including directing crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to ensure seamless project flow and a safe work environment.
  • Maintain Klasik's high standards of quality by conducting regular inspections, verifying work against plans and specifications, and taking pride in a job done right.
  • Identify and address potential issues before they become delays, using your tenacity and competency to find efficient, proactive solutions that keep the project on track.
  • Serve as the on-site hub of communication, working closely with our Project Manager to provide timely updates, manage expectations, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Implement the project plan, enforce safety protocols, and manage the day-to-day schedule with an entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for ways to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial construction superintendent or foreman role.
  • A track provablerecord of leading teams and managing job sites successfully.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead, listen, and build strong relationships with everyone from laborers to architects.
  • A curiosity and an innate understanding of how things are built, from the ground up to the finishing details.
  • A positive, solutions-oriented attitude that thrives on overcoming challenges.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with safety protocols and an unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe job site.

Nice to Have

  • Post-secondary education or trade school experience in a related field.
  • Experience with implementing lean construction methodologies.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes.
  • Experience with project management software and mobile apps for field use (BuilderTrend, JobTread, or similar).
  • A background in a craft that showcases a meticulous eye for detail.
